Her Story

A little casa, a lot of heart.

Why Lynnea cooks — in her own words.

Lynnea making tortillas in her kitchen

I started Lynnea's Tortilla Casa in one of the hardest seasons of my life — after my mom passed away. I needed something to keep my mind and my hands busy, and the kitchen was where I felt closest to her.

Keeping our traditions and memories alive is everything to me. My maternal grandma, Ida, is the inspiration behind all of it — the heart of these recipes, and my guide through grief. I roll out the tortillas the way she does, the way her mother and her grandmother did before her. At 94, she still helps guide my hands, sharing the recipes we're passing on to you today.

Somewhere along the way, it grew into something bigger than I ever expected. What started as a way to keep busy turned into something my family and I are proud to run with. It's hard work — I won't pretend it isn't — but it's made with love, every single time.

"Made from my corazón."

It's my mom, my memories, my familia — a little piece of my heart in everything I make, and you taste it in every bite.

Mi Familia

The whole reason.

This started for my mom, and it keeps going for my family. They're at the heart of every batch — the hands that help, the traditions we carry, and the love that goes into all of it.

With love from my kitchen to your table,

— Lynnea
